One might be curious about the artist creating the pictures that cover the
catalogues of ORGENTEC. Since 1996 ORGENTEC works together with the northern
german artist Jochem Roman whose works decorate the brochures and posters
of all products.
In the course of time a whole exhibition of his arts has accumulated in the
halls of ORGENTEC buildings. Thereunder two unique copies, one of which has
been created solely for the official opening of the new ORGENTEC buildings
in Mainz. In this "Regatta of Glory" one can realize the close relationship
between ORGENTEC and the artist J. Roman.
Jochem Roman was born in Bochum in 1951. Since his studies on the Art Academy
he has been living in Kiel. His work relays on zinc- and copper-plates that he
works on by line etching, Aquatinta or Mezzotinto engraving technique.

Leitmotiv of his atmospheric etchings are moments in the life of individual
persons as well as maritime depictions. In over 300 exhibitions at home and
abroad he gained some awards and became known all over the world.
One of his newer works is the official event poster "Last Lap Tops Kiel" for
the finish of the Volvo Ocean Race in Kiel in 2002.
